Larsen Elementary's first graders recently experienced a truly out-of-this-world event! Our young learners were thrilled to welcome Ryan, the beloved character from the children’s book Sam and Ryan Visit the Moon by Sam Grassley, for a special visit.
The excitement was sky-high as students listened to the story, asked questions, and learned more about Ryan’s adventures on the moon. This interactive experience not only brought the magic of reading to life, but also inspired curiosity and imagination in our first graders.
Thank you to Ryan, his family and Larsen’s very own Beach family for making reading an adventure for our students. We look forward to many more literary journeys together!
