Underwater Robotics Team

Larsen Elementary had five teams of fifth grade students compete at the Utah Underwater Robotics competition in March. Students started working on their robots in November, and stayed after school one day a week to build. They learned to solder, cut PVC pipe, and about electrical circuits and buoyancy. All five of our teams did really well at competition, with one team taking third place (and beating out a bunch of middle school and junior high students).
