Our 5th grade students were able to attend the 9/11 Remembrance Event put on by our community. Students were good sports managing the walk to and from the school to the fair grounds. At the event, students enjoyed learning about what life was like in 2001 and the tragedy that occurred on 9/11. They were able to hear people from people who had first hand experiences that day. Their favorite part was seeing and getting close up to the variety of emergency vehicles.
Larsen Elementary humbly honors all those who lost their lives on that day and those who protect and serve our country!
